Hi
I wanted to get some place where you could give your own views. Best I can think of right now is a letters page.
As you know I don’t like censorship so - good or bad - I’ll publish. Just a few guidelines for commonsense though. Send your comments to the following email address pdqprint@onetel.net .
Keep it concise and to the point. Messages less than 250 words stand a better chance of being published. Others will either be deleted or edited. The spam filter deletes material that contains obscenities. I will scan for possible libels, plain rudeness or puerile silliness which will never be allowed. But don’t worry about political correctness - you won’t find this site worrying about that!!! A sense of humour is welcome. Spellings and other obvious mistakes will be corrected when picked up.
Please always give your name and address (if you do not want your name published please also give a pen name). Any sensible comments relevant to Glascote, Tamworth or general politics will be published.
Thanks - Chris.
ps - Had a fair bit of mail - but personal stuff so I’ve left it out. State in your mail if you don’t mind it being included on this page
5th Nov 2006 - By way of defence - here’s a comment from at least one satisfied customer - no I.D. either (although obviously I know who it is.) BTW - I do answer these emails personally too.
Hi Mr Cooke , Impressed with your diligence, thank you, I prefer Independents with no party agendas. .............. Regards D. S.
5th Nov 2006 - Ask a silly question...!! This comment in response from EBO. ( Wonder who Jayne and EBO are?)

3rd June 2006 - The Case Of The Missing MP?
How does one get an appointment with our MP? Have phoned, visited the office, spoken with his staff both here and London, emailed, and even wrote two brief letters outlining my query; even resorted to having local labour councillors emailing on my behalf! Being trying for said appointment since the end of January 2006. Has big brother kidnapped our MP? Any advise or can you, the reader, let our MP know that I want an appointment.
John Noriega, B77 4BU
(19th June 2006 - Update letter)
Had my 15 minutes which was allowed with said MP on Friday 16th June 2006. He has a straight look and I could see the clock ticking before me, like when one visits the doctor (GP).
Have to wait and see if anything is/was done from said meeting. No emotion or feeling of excitement. Am in the dark! Must be my age (60 years old).
John Noriega, B77 4BU
(Editors note - Perhaps it was the airing of his complaint on this Web site that helped John get his appointment?)
